However, the celebration quickly degenerated into a 3-on-1 Bra and Panties Handicap battle, which Hemme lost.

Even though Stratus seemed to be mocking Hemme’s presence in the April 2005 edition of Playboy, Stratus disrupted the unveiling of Hemme and spray painted all over the cover. Hemme retaliated by slapping Stratus, which led to Stratus knocking Hemme down with a Chick Kick and spreading the word “slut” on her back. Hemme later apologized for her actions.

Hemme finally challenged Stratus to a bout at WrestleMania 21, and Stratus’s archenemy Lita helped Hemme prepare for the battle in the weeks leading up to the event. Hemme made an unsuccessful bid to unseat Stratus as the Women’s Champion during the competition that took place on April 3.
