Amanda Rose Saccomanno, better known by her ring name Mandy Rose, was born in the United States on July 18, 1991. She has worked as a model and a professional wrestler. She previously competed in WWE’s Tough Enough. Saccomanno was the fourth and youngest of five children reared in Westchester County, New York. Saccomanno performed in dance while at Yorktown High School. She continued her education at Iona University, graduating with a BA in speech pathology.

In 2013, she competed in her first fitness competition, the World Bodybuilding Fitness & Fashion Boston Show, and won first place. In addition, she won the “World Beauty Fitness & Fashion Bikini Champion” title in 2014. Saccomanno competed in the sixth season of WWE’s Tough Enough, which premiered in June 2015. On the July 28 show, she was about to be eliminated until contest judge The Miz intervened. After winners Sara Lee and Joshua Bredl, she finished in second place.

It was revealed in September 2015 that Saccomanno had replaced Naomi as the primary character on the WWE reality TV series Total Divas. On the episode of Raw airing on November 20, 2017, Rose made her debut with Sonya Deville and the returning Paige, attacking Sasha Banks, Bayley, Mickie James, and Alexa Bliss to establish herself as a villain. Absolution was the name given to Rose, Paige, and Deville’s stable in the following weeks.

The episode ended in a no-contest after being double-teamed by Rose and Deville in the ring as Banks’ allies were neutralized outside. This prompted Nia Jax to enter the ring, where she performed a Double Samoan Drop on Rose and Deville by carrying them over her shoulders. The women’s locker room cleared out, and the ring quickly became chaotic. While all was going on, Raw General Manager Stephanie McMahon came out to the call to make history by announcing the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble contest. WWE legend Lita removed Rose from the Royal Rumble match, which Asuka ultimately won.
