Even though The Owl House has concluded, it won’t prevent me from continuing to discuss the show. Now that the conclusion has been released into the open, more and more new truths about the universe and its individuals are coming to light. The fact that the show’s creator, Dana Terrace, is handing out these nuggets lends even more credibility to what she’s saying. When I say she was busy, we and the actors put much pressure on her to spill the beans.

On the previous Friday, Cissy Jones, Sarah-Nicole Robles, Avi Roque, and Rebecca Rose hosted the last Post Hoot, which is an Instagram show in which they talk about their experiences with the play with performers, crew members and other people connected with the production. It’s more of a casual get-together for friends to hang out and talk about anything and everything related to The Owl House. It still seems unreal that I was on it in 2022, talking about Thanks to Them and the time I spent covering the program.

When Dana Terrace showed up for the conclusion of the series with Watching and Dreaming in her rearview mirror, nothing was off-limits for discussion. Discussions could occur, people could ask questions, and some critical players could express their sadness and joy over The Owl House. Since I was, unfortunately, sleeping when the stream began at 8 p.m. PT (3 a.m. my time), consider this post a catch-up that discusses all of the significant points and exposes them worthy of discussion. I’ll forewarn you that there is a good deal of it.

Because fandoms operate in odd ways, I learned about this news before watching the Post Hoot owing to the fantastic fan art already circulating. In the picture, Hunter proudly waves a bisexual flag, while Willow proudly waves a pansexual flag. After seeing various colors on Hunter’s jacket in Thanks to Them, I was already leaning toward the conclusion that he was a member of both competing teams.

Regardless of whether or not they have an advanced friendship, we ship them, and the fact that they are both LGBTQ+ is fantastic. The broadcast was bittersweet as people applauded one other for their roles on the program and reflected on moments from the show that had a more significant impact on them than others. Robles enjoys all of the discourse around the disappearance of Glyph magic coinciding with a new stage in Luz’s life and her own, moving on from The Owl House after years of playing the lead part.

Robles’ delivery of the line “I should have thanked them” when Luz passes away, in conclusion, draws a tremendous reaction because it encompasses just what it is about this program that makes it so exceptional. It also brought out how conflicted Roque’s depiction of Emperor Belos was and how much fun it was to put on a show as a villain. Now that production is over, Terrace has been taking it easy and playing video games to catch up, but naturally, concerns concerning the future of The Owl House have come up.

Since Disney controls the intellectual property, she won’t have any say in any future projects or whether she will be engaged in any of them. She hopes there will be a sequel and more concepts like it, but nothing of the kind is in the works now. Most of the Hoot is spent complaining about Disney’s decision to stop the program and discussing the several endings that Terrace intended to explore but couldn’t because he had the necessary time or money.
