As a teenager, she held three jobs simultaneously: a bartender, cleaned houses, and worked at Subway. Following graduation, Robbie moved to Melbourne to launch an acting career and already had a few commercials and independent thriller films under her belt when she arrived there. When Robbie was still in high school, she got her start in the acting industry. She had starring roles in two independent thriller films with modest budgets, one titled Vigilante and the other titled I.C.U. Both of these films were released several years later. She referred to her time working on a movie set as “a dream come true” when asked to describe the experience.
