The Inhabitant, a horror film starring Odessa A’zion (Hulu’s Hellraiser), Leslie Bibb (Mrs. American Pie), Dermot Mulroney (Umma), and Lizze Broadway (The Rookie), has been bought by Gravitas Ventures for distribution in North America. The film is scheduled to be released on October 7 in more than one hundred theatres. The administration of foreign rights has been entrusted to Highland Film Group, and the forthcoming Toronto Film Festival will mark the beginning of sales.

Tara (A’zion), who, like any other teenage girl, is just trying to survive high school, is the protagonist of the film directed by Jerren Lauder (Stay Out of the F**king Attic). However, Tara’s father, Ben (Mulroney), and her mother, Emily (Bibb), seem strangely distant from Tara. Tara experiences terrifying sightings of terrifying entities amid a nearby spree of gruesome axe murders, which causes her to question both her sanity and her shocking ancestry.
