The show is based on the comic books published by DC Comics. In December 2018, it was revealed that Roderick would play the role of Justin Davis in the upcoming Netflix series Spinning Out, which would have him starring alongside Kaya Scodelario.
Roderick most recently appeared in the Hallmark mystery prequel “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Something New” opposite Skyler Samuels, who played the role of the new Aurora. The film will feature well-known actors such as Kat Barrell, Chandler Massey, and Evan Roderick in starring roles. The story will focus on an architect from Chicago who, as a result of a Christmas miracle, will have the opportunity to celebrate Christmas twice. Kat Barell, an actress born in Canada, has been cast in a significant role in the upcoming film A Tale of Two Christmases. Throughout the narrative, she will go through two very different kinds of Christmases, and as a result, she will finally learn more about herself due to these experiences.
Before beginning her career, Barell attended the renowned George Brown Classical Theatre School to prepare for the part that made her famous in the television series Wynonna Earp. As a result of her participation in the long-running television series Good Witch, she is also a veteran of the Hallmark Channel. Other works that have been credited to her include The Scarehouse, Definition of Fear, and Cabin Connection.
The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries will return thanks to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Nevertheless, this is a prequel-spinoff movie starring Skyler Samuels as the super sleuth Roe, which takes place before she becomes a librarian and a member of the Real Murders Club.
Evan Roderick, who currently stars in the CW’s Arrow, will play Kaya Scodelario’s romantic counterpart in the upcoming Netflix drama series Spinning Out, which is centered on the world of professional figure skating. Kat Baker (Scodelario) is Spinning Out’s protagonist, an up-and-coming, high-level single skater. Baker is set to hang up her skates after a devastating fall pulled her off the competition track, and the show was created by Samantha Stratton (Mr. Mercedes), who herself used to compete in figure skating competitions. Stratton was a former competitive figure skater.
When Kat decides to take advantage of an opportunity to continue her career as a pair skater with a talented bad-boy partner named Justin (Roderick), she risks revealing a closely guarded secret that can potentially throw her entire life into disarray. For Kat and Justin to fulfill their Olympic dream, they must overcome formidable challenges on and off the ice. These challenges include the risk of physical and emotional injury, the need to make financial sacrifices, and the possibility of suffering a mental breakdown.
Because Justin can skate at an Olympic level, his wild party-boy antics have been ignored for a considerable time. When he begins working with Kat, he discovers that he has last met his match on and off the ice. The series is helmed by Stratton Olsen and Lara Olsen, who act as executive producers and co-showrunners. Through Safehouse Pictures, Tory Tunnell and Joby Harold serve in executive-producing capacities. Matt Schwartz, who works with the organization, is one of the co-executive producers.
