DiCicco was born on June 10, 1980, in Los Angeles, California, United States. Her father is the actor Bobby Di Cicco, who has worked in cinema and television. When she was a small child, her family moved to New York City, where she spent her childhood on the Upper West Side. She was chosen to participate in the ABC program Free to Be… A Family while she was only in the second grade.
