Beautiful weather so she can spend the day hanging out by the pool is something Alexa enjoys almost as much as acting. Alexa loves to go swimming and it’s something she does anytime she has the chance. Water appears to be one of Alexa’s favourite locations, whether it’s in a pool or the ocean. Traveling isn’t something that everyone can do, and Alexa certainly doesn’t take it for granted.
Over the years, she has been able to travel extensively. Italy, Germany, the United States, and Belgium are among the countries she has visited. It was nothing short of a miracle. When I was 14, about to turn 15, a film came to my town and held an open casting call. I went out and acquired a nice tiny part. We shot the film in North Wales, and while I wasn’t paid, it was the best job experience I’ve ever had.
I was writing to agents searching for representation after finishing my GCSEs a year later, and luckily three great people from that film threw in a good word for me with Joe and Bill at BWH, who have been my agency for the past six years. Absolutely. It’s scary, as it is with any freelance work. However, if you aren’t getting much work as an actor, you should look for another career and wait for things to pick up.
It can be enjoyable! Between doing films and TV series, I’ve worked in a variety of occupations. Acting provides no assurances, so you must create your own. This is my sole profession. Even if everything goes south from here, you’ll find me working in a bar in 20 years, claiming to be waiting for things to pick up. Alternatively, perhaps I’ll reconsider the caterpillar situation.
My sole musical experience comes from the gigs I played with my Am Dram ensemble in Rhyl. To say the least, Mamma Mia! was a far cry from that! It was fantastic! I was having so much fun that I couldn’t wait to get to work and sing and dance all day. It’s a fantastic method to convey a narrative. It has thrown everything into disarray for me. In the future, I’d be interested in doing another movie musical.
The folks who were with me when I was performing Aretha are the ones who had my affection. I still get to enjoy using bits and pieces of Aretha, knowing that she’s in my log and that I can find her whenever I need to deliver a really witty, extremely caustic joke. It was difficult to say goodbye to the show, but knowing that Helen, Molly, Rebekah, and the rest of the amazing Garry family would always be a part of my life helped.
That, I believe, is true of any project. It’s difficult to say goodbye to the other characters. My only previous musical experience is from performances with my Am Dram ensemble in Rhyl. Mamma Mia! was, to say the least, a far cry from that! It was incredible! I couldn’t wait to get to work so I could sing and dance all day. It’s an excellent way to present a story. For me, it has put everything into confusion.
I’d be interested in doing another movie musical in the future. It’s strange trying to not only understand but also empathise with a character you’d probably run a mile from if you encountered them in real life. It is the piece’s quality that I am most concerned with. My favourite movies range from An Education, a simple storey about a girl falling in love, to Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight.
To me, it doesn’t matter what the storey is as long as it is properly told.Jennifer Donnelly’s Revolution was one of my favourite books as a youngster. It’s about a girl named Andi who is going through a lot of problems when she comes across a journal written by a girl her age, Alexandrine, but from the French Revolution.
Alexandrine’s storey aides Andi in overcoming her difficulties. Andi or Alexandrine are two characters I’d like to play. Alternatively, both! It has become clear to me that an actor’s fan base has an impact on their work rate. I don’t believe it is important or necessary to be always engaged on social media. You will work if you work hard, are kind, and are skilled at what you do. It is absolutely up to you whether or not you use social media.
