She was of New Orleans, not to mention Scott Bakula himself, are still in disbelief that the seventh and final season of the CBS drama will be it’s last. The news that the show would be canceled was dropped earlier this year by the network. beloved characters…and not so beloved characters. The story of Callie Thorne’s Sasha Broussard, whose resolution was more ambiguous, came to a more positive conclusion than it did for Pride, who acquired two new permanent family members as a result of the events that transpired.
CinemaBlend reached out to the showrunner and executive producer of NCIS: New Orleans, Christopher Silber, as well as another executive producer, Jan Nash, who responded to a few of my major finale questions via email.
To that end, let’s get right into some of those answers without further ado. Why NCIS: New Orleans Gave Pride Such a Joyful Conclusion TV shows with happy conclusions aren’t exactly unheard of, but it’s getting harder to find them in this day and age, and NCIS: New Orleans hasn’t exactly avoided grim narratives in the past.
Nevertheless, at the conclusion of the series despite the fact that the writers of NCIS: New Orleans brought Pride’s story to a relatively satisfactory conclusion, at least in terms of the dramatic questions it raised, chose to approach Sasha’s closing moments in a slightly different way. Sasha had already eluded the WITSEC agents when she made the call to Pride, so after the call she threw her phone out the window of her car and continued driving, presumably toward a distant location. Pride was able to track her down. However, it w

They quickly pulled out and started following Sasha as she drove away from the parking lot. Dun dun dun!! As it turns out, whatever ending you think actually took place is probably pretty close to the one that the executive producers of NCIS:
New Orleans wanted you to think took place. Here is why they chose to keep Sasha’s final moments so mysterious: To our way of thinking, the fans get to decide or debate how Sasha’s story ends, or even if it ends at all. We did this on purpose in order to allow that play-along to continue.
Therefore, if you think that Sasha is followed for a while until the point where her car is sideswiped in the middle of nowhere and she is killed by rogue assassins, that scenario could very well take place. If you believe that whoever was following Sasha was a good Samaritan who reported her to the police for throwing her phone out the window, which resulted in her being taken back into the custody of the government, then that is something that could have happened.
Or, if you believe that she outwitted those who were following her, escaped all of her problems, and moved to a beautiful island, then that is another possible outcome of Sasha’s story. I suppose it all depends on whether you have a pessimistic or an optimistic outlook on life. It’s a bummer for fans, but NCIS: New Orleans has come to an end after seven seasons on CBS (opens in Nick Venable
THey did in fact live up to its billing when the fun parts of the story began to unfold after the third act. Rita Devereaux, who is portrayed on-screen by Chelsea Field, who is also Scott Bakula’s real-life wife, became Dwayne Pride’s second wife, making him a married man for the second time. The wedding was every bit as adorable as one might have anticipated, given that Rita is played by Chelsea Field.
And the family expanded even further with the addition of Drew Scheid’s character, Connor Davenport, who it was recently established is Pride and Sasha’s son. Sasha made the hasty decision to make a hasty exit after seeing how much fun Connor was having at the wedding with Pride’s friends and family.
This decision, which was probably inevitable but was made on the spur of the moment, gave Pride the opportunity to raise his son for a few of his remaining teenage years. I spoke with Pride executive producers Christopher Silber and Jan Nash about the possibility of the show’s cancellation.
She earned her GED by attending high school classes online in Los Angeles between auditions. As a result, she graduated high school a year earlier than she would have if she had attended a traditional high school due to the fact that she was working full-time.
