My first love was singing. I’m always in a good mood when I sing. When you have true faith, you believe in something you cannot see.

When things are really bad and you can still get up and say, “I believe they’ll get better, that there’s a higher lesson in what I’m going through.” It can be difficult at times, but to turn it around in such a way demonstrates true faith.

Will Smith is someone I greatly admire. He’s well-known on a global scale, and people recognize him from all walks of life. I don’t know any kid who hasn’t seen and liked Fresh Prince, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy one of his films or music.

He’s flawless, and he’s completed every task. That is my ambition: to be well-known on a global scale. Keke is actually my nickname.

My sister was about four years old when I was a child, and she had an imaginary friend named Keke. And she insisted on my given name being Keke. You’ll have to speak up for yourself – something I learned after being, for lack of a better word, crapped on.

You should never look at someone and say, “I wish I had their life,” because you never know what difficulties they are facing. Comedians enjoy seeing people laugh. I enjoy giving people a feeling or an emotion through my acting.

I enjoy making people feel something. I want them to think when they leave my scene. As you get older, you realize that your emotions are in your control, not someone else’s. When you give them to someone else, you give them power, and you can’t take it back.

Only they have the power to change it. Whenever you see Beyonce, Jay-Z, or Kanye West. Every time a young black person does something good, it serves as inspiration for everyone else.

It’s motivation at any time. Use that as fuel to propel you forward. That’s exactly what I did. Anything that has the ability to influence my mental state I never want to do anything because I always want to be in control.

That could be because I’m a Virgo.people used to tell me as a kid, ‘Oh, you look like Chilli from TLC.’ People didn’t start saying I looked like Angela Bassett until I did ‘Akeelah and the Bee,’ but before that it was Chilli.

I have a few celebrity friends, but I’m not interested in the whole Hollywood thing. I like to keep myself separate from my work. If I do too much of the same, it stresses me out. I didn’t come from a wealthy family. I had a lot of love and support from my family, but I didn’t have much in terms of money or other resources.

I did nothing but follow my dreams. If my fans take anything away from me, I hope it’s that. exploding, and I think I know why. When I’m acting, I feel in complete control and center. This is something I only learn through acting and music. It’s the same as love itself.

My first kiss was with Corbin Bleu. I was 12 at the time, and he was my first kiss on television… It was on the tongue! omit it. Because I’m a workaholic, I ignore the signs of exhaustion and keep going and going, only to pass out when I get home.

It can be a very stressful situation. I adore b and strive to instill confidence in others. I believe you are capable of accomplishing anything you set your mind to.

I believe that your mind is the worst thing you can use to justify not doing something. I occasionally want to play completely different characters. I don’t always want to play a wholesome character.

People can tell when you’re not at ease and trying to be sexy. I enjoy singing, performing, and making things perfect. I enjoy both music and acting. I always keep that in the forefront of my mind, rather than all the other distractions around me.

My parents serve as role models for me. They have supported me and helped me get to where I am today. My father is a deacon, and my mother is a choir director, so I grew up attending church and singing in the choir, begging my mother for a solo.

Many of those who love me also despise me. On Twitter, I get some really mean, mean, mean, mean comments, and it just goes with the territory. You’ll feel just as good about the outside if you focus more on the inside.

When I’m doing good and helping others, I feel attractive. I’m not a big fan of music. It’s like when people spontaneously start singing; it’s not real. I only want to do things that I truly connect to, whether it’s acting, music, or even dancing, and my music is everything that I am.

When people first think of me, they think of me as ‘Akeelah.’ It can be aggravating to be remembered at an age you’ve outgrown. Whatever my situation is, I want to demonstrate that I am not perfect and that perfection is not real.

That is especially important for young people to understand. I adore Urban Outfitters. It’s similar to Forever 21, but for the 24- to 25-year-old girl who is getting a little older.
