The Jonas Brothers were one of the most successful youth bands of the 2000s, and they created hook-filled power pop hits in the style of their contemporary bands McFly and Hanson. It’s About Time, the first studio album to feature all four members of the Jonas Brothers, was issued in August of 2006. The album debuted at number 91 on the Billboard charts and garnered the twins a limited audience, notably among listeners of Radio Disney. The album featured the songwriting abilities of Desmond Child and Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne. Despite this, Columbia Records decided to remove the Jonas Brothers from their roster sometime in early 2007.
