Johnny Depp, born John Christopher Depp II on June 9, 1963, in Owensboro, Kentucky, is an actor, musician, and filmmaker known for his eclectic and often unconventional film choices. He achieved perhaps his greatest success as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean films.
