Air met businessman and animal conservationist Damian Aspinall in 2000, after being introduced by their mutual friend Tara Palmer-Tomkinson. They became fast friends and eventually married. They began a long-term relationship, and Air gave birth to their daughter, Freya Air Aspinall, in September 2003, after which the couple separated. When Aspinall’s other children had grown up and moved away, the parents declared their plan to send their newborn daughter in the care of a gorilla. In 2007, Air and Aspinall reached an amicable separation agreement.

After meeting and falling in love with James Middleton, the younger brother of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, in 2013, Air and James ended their relationship in 2018. Air resides in the Chelsea neighborhood of London. Air is a supporter of the Macmillan Cancer Support, Race for Life, Sport Relief, and Jeans for Genes charities, among other organizations. Air made his television debut as an extra on the CBBC show Byker Grove when he was ten years old.

A producer approached him about auditioning for a role, and he was later cast as Charlie Charlton. After forming Byker Groove! with co-stars Jayni Hoy and Vicky Taylor in 1994, the group released the single “Love Your Sexy,” which peaked at number 48 on the UK Singles Chart the following year.

Air moved to London when he was 15 years old, and the band continued as a pair with Hoy as Crush. Two of the band’s songs from 1996, “Jellyhead” and “Luv’d Up,” peaked at number 50 and number 45 on the UK singles chart, respectively, but their debut studio album Teenage Kicks failed to reach the top 40. When Crush’s management team scheduled the band on a tour of the United States, Japan, and South East Asia, which began shortly after Air completed her GCSEs, the song “Jellyhead” reached number 76 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Her promotional tour concluded in the United Kingdom, where she joined MTV UK in September 1997 to host the daily live show, MTV Select. She went on to host a number of other shows, including The Big Breakfast, Channel 4’s flagship morning entertainment show, which she later left to pursue other opportunities. The reason for Air’s resignation from MTV Select in April 2000 was her wish to resume acting and to dedicate more time to her work on The Big Breakfast, which she cited as the grounds for her decision.

In January 2001, Air was promoted to the position of the principal presenter of The Big Breakfast, which was relaunched following a period of declining viewership ratings. However, in May of that year, Air announced his resignation, and Channel 4 announced the cancellation of The Big Breakfast shortly after. As previously reported by BBC film critic Neil Smith, Air had a brief cameo appearance in The Mummy Returns, the sequel to The Mummy (1999), in a cameo that was “blink and you’ll miss it” and was hailed as “one of the only points of change” between the sequel and the original.

Also known for her roles in various television dramas, most recently Hollyoaks (2010-2011) and Hotel Babylon (2008-2009), as well as the BBC TV comedy Operation Good Guys, Catherine Cookson’s six-parter A Dinner of Herbs, and Lynda La Plante’s Supply & Demand (2010-2011). Air made cameo appearances in a number of films, including Still Crazy (1998) and Bad Day (2008). Air presented on Five’s early evening magazine show Live from Studio Five, alongside regular presenter Kate Walsh, on the network’s early evening magazine show.

During the month of January 2013, Air appeared on the ITV program Splash! She stepped in for Jennifer Metcalfe at the last minute. After announcing her participation in the tenth season of Dancing on Ice in November 2017, Air confirmed her participation in the show. She was paired with Mark Hanretty on the team. They were eliminated from the competition in Week 7. A star-making role in the second series of the BBC One drama The Split was confirmed in 2019. The Split will premiere on BBC One in February 2020 and will last for two seasons.

Donna Air has admitted that she gained weight during the lockdown, which she claims is the first time in her life. The 41-year-old actress claims that she has gained two jeans sizes since the pandemic began last year as a result of her weekly consumption of cheese and takeout.

The mother-of-one, on the other hand, has no plans to shed the extra pounds anytime soon since she is ‘very happy about it and enjoys her new ‘curves,’ according to her. ‘I’ve been fairly carefree about what I’ve been eating,’ Donna stated in an interview with new! magazine about staying in shape under lockdown. ‘I’ve finally gained some weight for the first time in my life, which is incredible.

‘ I’ve gone up two jeans sizes during the lockdown, which is something that has never, ever occurred to me before, no matter how hard I’ve tried, so I’m actually very pleased with myself for having done so. When Donna had coronavirus at the outset of the pandemic, she previously claimed that she had been left with ‘brain fog’ and memory loss. It was at the end of March that she informed her followers on Twitter that she had tested positive for coronavirus.

She added: ‘I hope everyone is managing to stay strong and in pretty good spirits during the lockdown.’ In order to gain some clarity, I did a test and the results came back positive for Covid19. ‘I just wanted to let you know that I had moderate flu-like symptoms and began self-isolating 18 days ago. I was fortunate in that my symptoms subsided quickly and that none of my family members are showing any signs of the illness.

The government’s guidelines will continue to be followed, and in the meantime, I’m sending lots of love to everyone, especially those who are fighting on the front lines.’ Donna stated in October of the same year that she suspected she had contracted the virus, which had caused her to experience memory loss. The actress took to Twitter to express her fears, sharing an article on Covid-19 survivors who felt as if they had ‘dementia’ as a result of the event.

‘Since contracting Covid-19 in March, I have suffered significant brain fog and sporadic memory loss (which is unlike anything I have ever encountered before). Has anyone else seen these symptoms?” says the author. Donna is most known for her role as Charlie Charlton in the critically acclaimed BBC television series Byker Grove, in which she starred. In the years after her Byker Grove appearances, the actress has appeared in a number of films, including The Mummy Returns and The Counselor.

Additionally, the actor has appeared on a number of reality television shows, including Celebrity MasterChef, Splash!, and, most recently, Dancing On Ice. The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, and Donna Middleton is said to have met at a private members club in February 2013, when they both met James Middleton, the Duchess’s brother. Following their encounter, the couple is claimed to have been in a relationship on and off until 2017.

Over the Christmas holidays in 2017, it was announced that the pair had ended their relationship. The next year, Donna stated, “James and I are no longer together.” We split ways in December, but we are still the greatest of friends, and we shall remain so forever.” Donna went on to compete in Dancing on Ice, and it is reported that James was in the audience during one of Donna’s performances, which was caught on camera by fans.

Donna revealed about the couple’s separation in an interview with Weekend magazine. It wasn’t meant to be with James, but we were together for five years and he’s a terrific person; we had a lot of fun together, Donna remarked. The timing wasn’t ideal in this case. “I wish him nothing but the best in life.” Donna went on to say that James did not introduce her to high society because of their shared friendships.

According to Donna, “He didn’t lead me around in circles.” “Right from the start, we had mutual pals. London is a rather tiny city. The restaurants where we all eat and the sites where we all go are the same.” Donna’s prior relationship with Damian Aspinall resulted in the birth of a daughter, Freya, who is 16 years old. Donna also spoke to the publication about how she and Damian co-parent their daughter, who is named Lily. “I believe our scenario demonstrates that things can be resolved in the end
