Diane Neal, daughter of Colleen and Christopher Neal, was born in Alexandria, Virginia, on November 17, 1976. Her father was a federal attorney, and her mother was a math teacher. Erin and Leigh, her two elder sisters, raised her. They were raised in Littleton, Colorado, and Ohio by their parents. She moved to Hawaii in 1993, just out of high school, to pursue a pre-med degree at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
She left, however, in order to pursue a career in modeling. She appeared in Pond’s and Shiseido advertisements when she was 18 years old. In 1999, she gave up modeling to study biblical archaeology in Egypt and Israel, inspired by the adventures of Indiana Jones. In 2009, she enrolled in Harvard University’s Extension School and graduated in May 2018 with an associate’s degree. Also, she has finished a six-week acting training at the Atlantic Acting School in New York City On July 9, 2005, Neal tied the knot with Irish actor Marcus Fitzgerald.
In 2014, the pair ended their relationship and divorced. Neal was a member of the figure skating team at her high school. A season one episode of NBC’s comedy-drama series “Ed” featured Diane Neal for the first time in 2001. This year, she appeared in an episode of the short-lived television series ‘Fling’. She began the year 2002 by voicing Cleopatra in the English dub of ‘Asterix and Obelix Meet Cleopatra,’ a French-Italian fantasy comedy.
It’s also worth noting that she starred in the pilot episode of Fox’s short-lived political drama “The American Embassy” and a season one episode of the CBS criminal thriller “Hack.” ‘Dracula II: Ascension,’ a dv horror film starring Jason Scott Lee and Jason London, had her direct-to-video debut in 2003. ‘Second Born’, a dramatic picture, was her big-screen debut later in the year. ‘Future Tense’ was also released in the same year. The third film in the Dracula series, “Dracula III: Legacy,” saw her repeat her role as Elizabeth Blaine.
In an episode of NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” from 2001, she made her first appearance. She portrayed Amelia Chase, a wealthy stockbroker who was convicted of rape and murder and sentenced to 15 years in prison. Neal was later cast in the role of Casey Novak, an assistant district attorney. Season five, episode ‘Serendipity,’ saw her make her television acting debut as Novak (2003).
Stephanie March’s character of Alexandra Cabot was replaced by her character, Alexandra Cabot. It was after the New York State Bar censured her character in SVU’s ninth season (2008) that Neal decided to step down. In season 12 (2011), she returned as a temporary District Attorney. Neal last appears in the episode ‘Valentine’s Day from Season 13 (2012). In addition, she appeared as a guest star on an episode of ‘Law & Order: Trial by Jury’ during its first season (2005).
So far, Neal has played Abigail Borin in six episodes of CBS’ NCIS (2010–14) and three episodes of the spin-off series, ‘NCIS: New Orleans’ (2015). However, she has stated that she has the ability to “take incredibly sophisticated legislation and reduce it down into palatable sound bites,” which is something that most progressive liberals are unable to accomplish.
Her decision to run as an independent candidate in New York’s 19th congressional district was announced on February 8, 2018. She received only 1% of the vote in the election. Diane Neal and Mariska Hargitay “laughed” after Neal allegedly labeled Hargitay a “complete bitch” in November, according to reports.

The Affair, Chicago P.D., and Other TV Shows Have Undergone Some of the Safest Reboots in Recent Memory: The only person Neal, 44, got along with on the SVU set was Ice-T, according to court records obtained by Page Six. The rest of the actors, according to Neal, were “terrible individuals.” As part of JB Benn’s lawsuit against her as a counter to her suit against him for “sexually and physically abusing” her, the Power star’s claimed statements were released in an email.
Largest Disputes on the Coast Us Weekly spoke exclusively with Neal at the Annual Ripple of Hope Awards and Auction on Thursday, December 12, and she said, “That’s the funniest thing that I’ve ever heard.” “Okay. That’s all of it. It came from a campaign manager who had only been on the job for three weeks. Hargitay’s “disgruntled” former employee was “manipulated” into saying things, according to the NCIS alum, who recounted the situation. Nancy Pelosi and J.K. Rowling were among the recipients of Thursday’s Ripple of Hope Awards, which honor community leaders for their lifelong commitment to the struggle for social change and human rights.
As revealed in newly released court records, former “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” actress Diane Neal made headlines when she described Mariska Hargitay as a “total bitch” and her co-stars as “terrible individuals. Neal, who played Casey Novak on “SVU,” said Ice-T was the only one who was pleasant to work with, according to the lawsuit. Former campaign manager Rachael Himsel is said to have written the statements down in an email to an unidentified person. JB Benn, Neal’s ex-boyfriend, is suing to retaliate against her allegations that he physically and sexually mistreated her.
According to Neal, she made no such remarks about her “SVU” co-stars when speaking with Page Six, claiming: “There is no truth to this at all. Almost everyone I’ve ever worked with has been wonderful, and I’ve come to adore most of them.” “Mariska and I were not the closest, but it doesn’t mean we have any malice towards each other, we’re still extremely supportive of each other,” she stated while discussing Hargitay, who has played Olivia Benson for the past 21 seasons. She’s a fantastic mother, she’s a fantastic Benson, and she does wonderful charitable work.
This is the most lurid and inaccurate thing I’ve ever said about the cast members.” Neal allegedly threatened Benn on Nov. 7, 2017, with a gun and a noose, according to court documents obtained by Page Six. Benn frequently recorded her “primarily because he (rightly) anticipated that Ms. Neal would eventually blame him for any disaster or trouble in the parties’ relationship, often made audio recordings of his conversations with her.” As heard on the tape, Neal allegedly warned Benn: “I’m either going to murder you or sue the f–k out of you. Make your life a misery just like yours has been for me. But you’re in a better position than I am since you’ve got nothing to lose. “As a result of the size of your life.” Friendship is non-existent. You have no one to turn to for support.
You’ve got nothing to lose here. No one cares about you. I’ve already squandered all of my resources. I have nothing left to lose, and I intend to bring you down with me. Prick. Actually, that’s what you are, after all. You’re a terrible person, and you should be ashamed of yourself. So, what’s the passcode for your smartphone once more? What a job well done. Thanks for your hard work, JB. You’re an amazing student.
You’ve got a lot of talent. You exude an air of friendliness and generosity. It was a lot of fun. The word “prick” comes to mind while thinking of you. I despise you with all my heart. Leave! Yeah! What’s that? In front of you, I’m going to fucking murder, Charlie! In front of you, I’m going to murder him. I’m going to murder you, Charlie. Before your father’s eyes, I’m going to shoot you in the head so that your brain matter gets all over him. Then you might be able to get this f–king android to express some form of–king emotion.”
Other times, Benn has accused Neal of screaming: “You are the least enjoyable person I have ever met. Because you don’t want to be attached to anyone, you don’t think it has anything to do with relationships. Yes, even I can! So, I’m going to kill you and your f–king dog to get my point across to you.” After Neal’s own complaint was filed last week, alleging that Benn defrauded her of millions and assaulted her physically and emotionally, all of this happened.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s annual Deer Valley Celebrity SkiFest is where Neal and Benn first crossed paths in December of 2013. Her argument is that Benn forced her to leave their $529,900 house, which she had helped to pay for in part, last year while they were still together. He, on the other hand, denies it. In New York’s 19th Congressional District, Neal unsuccessfully ran as an independent candidate for the House of Representatives.
