Their actions were so embarrassing that it was uncomfortable to laugh at them at the same time. The show’s catchphrases have made their way into everyday speech. You would have to live in a remote part of the universe to have never heard the phrases “Computer says no,” “I’m the only queer in hamlet,” or “Yeah, but no, but yeah but.” Despite this accomplishment, the creator of Little Britain has struggled with melancholy and feelings of self-loathing since infancy. He admits to having “very dark ideas, self-destructive impulses,” which he overcame by always producing new work and maintaining a busy social life.

David shared his sentiments when he said, “I can’t take being alone myself.” “I despise it. I have an irrational and unhealthy dread of being alone. As part of BBC4’s Curse of Comedy series, he portrayed the late comic Frankie Howerd, who also battled depression, and was able to channel the emotions he was experiencing into the role he played for the series. His career has also included starring roles in the films “Run, Fat Boy, Run” and “Great Expectations,” both of which he co-starred in with his friend Simon from Bristol and the actors Helena Bonham Carter and Ralph Fiennes (five titles, some illustrated by Quentin Blake).

The Billionaire Boy is one of his books that is geared toward young adults and pre-teens. It is about a little boy who is a billionaire and has his own Formula One vehicle and hundreds of trainers, but he has no friends. In the meanwhile, Gangsta Granny pursued a jewel thief who had retired and was now trying to hire her grandson for one more job. The completion of difficult athletic tasks provided another method of release. In 2006, he participated in a swim across the English Channel for the benefit of Sports Relief and was successful in generating over one million pounds in contributions. He completed the race at a remarkable time of 10 hours and 24 minutes, and he referred to the accomplishment as “a form of redemption” and “something I could be pleased of.”

In addition to this, David swam across the Strait of Gibraltar in 2008 and then swam the full length of the Thames three years later. He did this as part of a team of famous people who were riding through the entirety of the United Kingdom. The comedic genius had a back injury as well as an illness that was brought on by a water-borne parasite when he was in the river. He was undeterred and immediately began making preparations for a new journey with the star of Man vs. Wild, Bear Grylls. At this moment, his wife showed some serious resolve and put her foot down. David mumbled something along the lines of, “It was just climbing a rock wall, but Lara became incredibly irritated and shouted no…”

They are head over heels in love with one another. Lara gushes over her spouse, referring to him as “a perfect gentleman,” and she is always amused by his wit. “Even when I’m in the grouchiest mood, he can make me laugh,” she said. He has a great sense of humour. For his own part, the enamoured David was recently quoted as saying the following to a British publication: “If you’re talking about the multiple faces of David Walliams, the one when I’m most comfortable in my skin is when I’m sitting at home on the couch with my wife, watching The X Factor.” When you are in the company of someone you care about, you experience an overwhelming sense of peace. When Lara finally gave birth to their first child, a son, in May of 2013, life immediately became even more wonderful.
