Cherry Jones is an American actress who has appeared in films, television shows, and theatre productions. Her credits include the 1995 revival of the play ‘The Heiress,’ the 2005 original production of ‘Doubt,’ Fox’s action-thriller TV series ’24,’ and the dystopian drama web series ‘The Handmaid’s Tale.’ She has had five Tony Award nominations and has won two of them. She has also received three Drama Desk Awards and one Emmy Award.

Jones, a Tennessee native, has wanted to be a part of the theatre since she was a child. When she was a child, she acquired a strong interest in theatre, and her parents encouraged her to pursue her aspirations.Ruby Krider taught her acting lessons, which her parents organised.
