Brantley Gilbert

Brantley Gilbert is a well-known country singer, songwriter, and record producer from the United States of America. Brantley, along with a select group of other musicians, is credited for revitalizing country music, a style that was on the brink of losing its influence in popular culture. It was with the assistance of his first studio album, titled “Modern Day Prodigal Son,” that he rose to prominence in the music business after beginning his career by giving performances at local venues. His first album was distributed by the indie record label known as “Average Joes Entertainment,” which is known for mostly distributing the records of other independent musicians.

Later on, he received assistance from ‘Big Machine Records,’ which reissued his second album under the title ‘Halfway to Heaven.’ The first release of the album was not successful in reaching a large audience; nonetheless, the record’s subsequent re-release was essential in Brantley’s rise to stardom since it made the album accessible to a large number of listeners. As it turned out, this was the game-changer that Brantley had been hoping for all along. Soon after the album was re-released, a handful of the tracks on it reached the number-one spot on the Hot Country Songs Chart.

Because of his work on the record, he was presented with the ACM New Male Artist Award in the year 2013. After that, Brantley recorded two more country albums, each of which was met with widespread acclaim and economic success. Both ‘Halfway to Heaven’ and ‘Just as I Am’, two of his albums, have been awarded the platinum record certification. Brantley Gilbert was born on January 20th, 1985 in the state of Georgia in the United States. Due to the fact that his parents enjoyed listening to country music on a regular basis, he had early access to the world of music. It took some time, but finally, he came to like music, and he made up his mind that he wanted to pursue a career in the field.

It wasn’t until he was 13 years old that he began to take his boyhood ambition of being a musician seriously. He began by creating his own songs, and while he was still in school, he progressed to composing music for other musical projects. Because he did not do very well academically, his grades began to suffer as a direct result of this. There was nothing that could stop him from devoting the majority of his time to the production of music and the development of new songs.

After he had accomplished the seemingly impossible task of graduating from high school, he had a profound transformation and made the snap decision to pursue music just as a pastime. After that, he decided to get a degree in marital and relationship counseling, so he enrolled at Georgia College and State University to study for his bachelor’s degree in the subject. Following the completion of his studies, he began working for a counseling company in the state of Georgia.

At the age of 19, he was involved in a serious accident that caused him to lose the majority of his memories. Because of this, he was no longer able to work as a counselor, and he struggled with depression for an extremely extended length of time. Because of this, he was obliged to concentrate on music, and he subsequently said that singing and playing music was all that was necessary for him to recall his past experiences. After that, he attempted to have his music heard by performing it at various pubs and clubs in the area. But as a result of being turned down by a number of businesses, he made the decision to collaborate with an unsigned music company that goes by the name “Average Joes Entertainment.”

Brantley started out his career as a musician by taking the stage as one of the opening acts at a variety of shows that included performances by country singers. The work on his first album, titled “Modern Day Prodigal Son,” was completed by the time the year 2006 came to a close. However, in spite of his efforts, his record wasn’t published until 2009, when it was done so by the company known as “Average Joes Entertainment.” His first album had a positive reception from the press. However, due to the fact that “Average Joes Entertainment” was an independent record company, it was constrained by its own constraints and was unable to promote the album to a large audience.

As a result, the record did not get the kind of publicity that its quality warranted. However, it was successful in reaching famous country musicians such as Colt Ford and Jason Aldean, both of whom were impressed by Brantley’s lyrics and later collaborated with the artist. After that, they decided to pay Brantley to compose the lyrics for each of their own songs. By the end of 2010, he had completed all of the work on his second album, and it was completely ready to be distributed. The CD was ultimately distributed by “Average Joes Entertainment,” who took the initiative. Again, however, it did not reach a large number of people since the music label’s marketing methods were not effective enough to meet expectations.

After that, he began looking for a better choice, and in the end, he made a contract with the “Valory Music Group,” which is a part of “Big Machine Records.” After that, he re-released his second album so that it might be heard by a larger audience. The first song from the album, titled “Country Must Be Country Wide,” was a hit and quickly rose to the top of the Billboard Country Songs chart in the United States. Although it got off to a poor start, the second song, titled “You don’t know her like I do,” finally made it into the top five spots on the list. At the 2012 American Country Awards, the song ended up winning the award for Single of the Year in the Breakthrough Artist of the Year category. This led to the song’s meteoric rise to popularity among country music fans.

After then, another single named “Kick it in the Sticks” was made available to the public. Brantley got praise for his songwriting abilities, despite the fact that this record was not as commercially successful as his previous two hits. Yet another track from the album, titled “More than Miles,” became a smash, and Brantley went on to win the ACM New Male Artist Award in 2013. Brantley released his third studio album, titled “Just as I am,” in May of 2014; the album had a total of 11 songs. It climbed all the way to the number one place on the Top Country Albums Chart and the second slot on the Billboard 200. Following the release of the album, Brantley went on tour to promote it, and the tour was a huge success.

The album produced a number of tracks that went on to become significant successes, including “Bottles Up” and “Small Town Throwdown.” After that, Brantley was responsible for the organization of other countrywide tours, including the “Blackout Tour” and the “Take It Outside Tour.” The year 2017 saw the release of Brantley’s fourth studio album, titled “The Devil Don’t Sleep,” which had a total of sixteen songs. The album reached number one on the US Country Chart and ultimately received platinum certification from the RIAA after sales of more than one million copies.

Since then, the song has worked its way up to the third spot. In the end, the performance of the song earned the American Country Award for Single of the Year—Breakthrough Artist in 2012.

Gilbert disseminated “Kick It in the Sticks” not long after the release of the second single in his discography. The song was made available to the public for the first time in 2010, and it was later made available again in 2012 as the third single from his sophomore album. The version released in 2012 garnered mostly good reviews, and it reached its highest position on the Billboard Hot Country Songs list at No. 29. It also reached its highest position on the Country Airplay chart at No. 38.
