Actor Andrew Russell Garfield was born in the United Kingdom but grew up in the United States. His portrayal of Spider-Man in the hit movie franchise The Amazing Spider-Man brought him international fame. Garfield made his film debut in the American war drama Lions for Lambs after finding early success as a stage actor in London. After that, he landed the lead role in the film Boy A, which was based on the popular British novel of the same name by Jonathan Trigwell.

Andrew’s 2010 work merits his consideration for a Breakout Performance – Male Scream Award nomination. The lead role of Tom in the short film “Air” followed his performance as Kit in the pilot episode of the TV series “Freezing.” An additional short film starring Andrew as Sheldon, “I’m Here,” premiered at the start of 2010.
