Alex Lawther is an English actor best known for portraying young Alan Turing in the Academy Award-winning film ‘The Imitation Game,’ for which he also won the London Film Critics’ Circle Award for Young British Performer of the Year in 2015. Alex Lawther made his acting debut when he was 16 years old, playing John Blakemore in David Hare’s play ‘South Downs.’ He made his feature film debut in 2014 with the historical thriller ‘The Imitation Game.’ Alex’s performance in the picture, according to the director, caused him goosebumps. Gwen and Alyssa go to the suburbs, where they live with the former’s half-sister Leigh. Alyssa finds work as a waitress at Leigh’s café and, eventually, a fiancé.
