Aimee earned a triple major in economics, journalism, and French from Northwestern University. She was signed to a two-year deal with Paramount Television while at Northwestern University when Norman Lear hand-picked her to star in his pilot-in-development, The Chavez Family, and she also portrayed Diana Morales in “A Chorus Line” for Broadway choreographer Mitzi Hamilton.
